The number of electric vehicles (EVs) is growing rapidly, increasing demand for charging and energy. At the same time, solar generation from buildings often exceeds the grid’s capacity. This project aims to integrate solar generation, energy storage and EV charging into various types of buildings in order to maximise self-consumption, develop scalable business models and offer automated, AI-optimised energy billing. It has received support from the Swiss Federal Office of Energy (SFOE) and Suisse Energie – the SFOE’s national programme for the implementation of innovative energy measures in Switzerland.
The aim of the study is to support the energy transition and strengthen the resilience of the grid, while proposing innovative solutions for clean energy.
